Hi there.  Today we headed to Wes Crile Park in Deltona, FL.  It is 14 acres and contains many amenities. Find out more about our visit…

Entrance to indoor gym and meeting room

SONY DSCPlayground/swingsets

The playground and swingsets are next to the splash pad towards the back of the park.  The playground is suitable for children of all ages and needs.  The swings are located on either side of the playground. It was a hot do so most of the children where running around the splashpad.

Picnic Tables

Most picnic tables are located under pavilions near the playground.  There are a few sprinkled around the splashpad.  Nearly all of the pavilions offer generous shade.  The park also offers benches throughout the property with varying degrees of shade.

Splash Pad

The splashpad is wonderful. It is one of my kids favorite. It offers fun for children of all ages. Summer is already here and although there were quite a few children at the splashpad it did not seem crowded. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

A few things to keep in mind about the splashpad (please see splash pad attendant and posted rules for additional information):

  • No food or drinks (not even water) are allowed
  • No toys are allowed
  • No shade
  • No running

Outdoor Basketball Courts

The basketball courts are located at the entrance of the park.  There is no shade. I’m guessing they are their busiest in the evenings.

Softball Field

The softball fields are located near the entrance of the park.

Other amenities not featured on this visit include:

  • Restrooms
  • Indoor Gym
  • Open Space
  • Walking Trail
  • Pavilions
  • Racquetball Courts
  • Tennis Courts
  • Rentable Meeting Room

We have been here many times and it never disappoints.  I highly recommend Wes Crile Park.  The splashpad is always closed on Mondays for maintenance and closes at 6pm.
